Publishing Paradigm

As an unknown writer with no career history, contracts found will likely be small, where you may even have to pay a small amount in the hybrid method. Publishers want proofread work too, so this may be an additional cost. You can be largely ignored as publishers wish to make cash and find the process much easier with known writers, and sometimes only respond if interested. Sadly, this is the reality.
